· Lorry with a crane
· 3.5t truck for smaller items
· Palletised delivery for larger / heavier items
· An experienced 'man with a van' service
This means that the delivery lorry will get the pallet as close to where the customer wants it, in as far as it can be reached by the lorry (if there is no parking area or the drive gates are too narrow, the item may be left on the street kerb). The pallet will then be offloaded and left with its contents still on the pallet, it will not be further moved, offloaded, unwrapped or otherwise manhandled by the delivery person.
Delivery can occur at any time of the day, so unless authority is given to leave the pallet in a secure off-road location, someone will need to be there to receive the pallet. If there are any access issues for delivery lorries, we must be informed beforehand so we can check that delivery can be made.
